Sydney, Australia, 29 June 2026 - HaemaLogiX Ltd, a clinical-stage biotech developing novel immunotherapies for patients with blood cancers and B cell diseases, today announces a planned transition in its Board, with Dr John Cullity stepping down as Non-Executive Director after 12 years of service. The Board has appointed co-founder Alan Liddle as incoming Non-Executive Chair.
Dr Cullity is a co-founder of HaemaLogiX, and since its inception, has contributed as both an executive and director, helping to guide the company’s development into a biotechnology business of international standing. The Board and management extend their sincere thanks for his commitment, leadership and many years of contribution, and wish him well in the future.
Alan Liddle, who brings deep operational and on-the-ground experience, both with the Company and with capital markets, will lead the Board as HaemaLogiX progresses towards its planned ASX listing.
Alan Liddle, incoming Non-Executive Chair, said: “On behalf of the Board, I thank John for his many years of service. His contribution has helped lay the foundations for HaemaLogiX's success today. As we look ahead, the opportunities before us are clear and compelling, and we remain focused on translating them into outcomes for patients and our shareholders. HaemaLogiX has always been a collaborative effort, and we will continue to welcome John’s engagement, along with that of our broader stakeholder community as we move into this next phase.”
John Cullity said the decision reflects the company’s evolution as it prepares for life as a publicly listed entity, commenting, “Serving as Chair has been a privilege, particularly in an organisation where every individual plays a critical, hands-on role. I remain highly confident in the company’s commercial prospects and am proud of what we have built together. As HaemaLogiX moves closer toward its planned ASX listing, it is important that the leadership structure evolves to meet the demands of an Australian public company, including close and consistent engagement with the local investment community – which is challenging from my home in the US. I believe this transition positions the company well for its next stage, and I look forward to its continued success.”
Dr Chris Baldwin, CEO and Managing Director, said: “On behalf of the entire HaemaLogiX team, I would like to thank John for his stewardship and dedication since day 1. Multiple Myeloma patients today still face treatments that carry significant toxicity, without delivering a lasting cure. Our programs are designed to treat the disease more safely, reducing immune damage and supporting patients’ long-term wellbeing. We’re energised by the path ahead and I look forward to working with Alan, the Board and the team to realise our plans.”
In parallel with progressing its corporate plans, HaemaLogiX continues to make steady clinical and operational progress across its pipeline. Recent milestones have included receipt of ethics approval for the Phase 2b study of HaemaLogiX’s lead asset, KappaMab™ in relapsed multiple myeloma (18 June 2026), and the commencement of patient enrolment in the first-in-human KOALA trial evaluating its KMCAR™ T-cell therapy (19 May 2026).
Together, these developments reflect the Company’s focus on advancing differentiated, tumour‑specific therapies and generating the clinical data required to support future growth and meaningful outcomes for patients and shareholders.
